are you willing to share yourself again.
will you always be terrified.
will you always question

if they dump you.
if they don't fall in love with you.
if you just end up comparing to the last.

love is.
a what if.
Love can be a "what if"! Falling in love with another can be a game of chance! But then, what may be lost forever if you don't try?

ReplyDeleteI really like this. Love is always a what if- the direction love decides to take is always a surprise- even when it is delivered right to you. Then "what if" you open it up and enjoy the contents!!

A fast breaking start out of the gate with the dong and ding! Clever. Love it, and the breathless pace of the first stanza, especially. A few choice questions later, BAM! truth’s the winner. Love’s a ‘what if?’, no question.
